You will be pleased to know that our team of massage therapists will be able to treat the cause of the pain versus treating the symptoms. Neuromuscular and myofascial techniques are used, which will give the patients an incredible 90% recovery rate and reduction in pain.
NOTE: You will need to contact your insurance provider to verify if your insurance does cover medical massage. The codes to mention are 97124 and 97140. Your insurance company will either say yes you are covered or not. It is possible they may at least offer a discount for massage.
This service is inclusive of an extensive medical intake form, evaluation of the individual which comprises of these 3 key components: A problem focused history; A problem focused examination; Straightforward medical decision making, medical SOAP notes, completion of the required 1500 form and of course the actual medical massage.
The service requires a referral from your primary physician or chiropractor. The fee schedule for medical massage in the State of Massachusetts 2022-2023 may vary pending on the health insurance policy, workers compensation benefits, union coverage and/or auto claims.
